Unify Expands Composer to Create an End-to-end Solution for Lotus Notes Application Migrations
Unify Partners with CASAHL Technology to Deliver Assessment and Analysis of Lotus Notes Infrastructure

Unify announced the expansion of its Composer for Lotus Notes solution through a partnership with CASAHL Technology. Partnering with CASAHL extends the Composer solution to include an assessment of the Lotus Notes infrastructure in order to inventory, categorize and analyze the types of Notes applications proliferated throughout the enterprise. Adding this capability to Composer enables Unify to offer customers a one-stop shop solution ranging from platform assessment to complex application migration.

The partnership enables Unify to better serve customers looking for alternatives to transition their Lotus Notes applications by conducting a thorough analysis of the Notes application environment. The assessment is used to determine platform-specific recommendations for the applications as well as to create a fixed bid for migrating all the required applications with the Composer solution.

“As Composer continues to gain traction with large enterprises looking to transition off of Lotus Notes, our partnership with CASAHL will enable Unify to deliver a comprehensive solution for application analysis, which continues to be requested by prospective customers,” said Kevin Kane, vice president and general manager, Composer Solutions. “We have already successfully completed joint projects with CASAHL that validates the viability of the partnership and technology. The partnership represents the most comprehensive solution in the market for application analysis, Microsoft platform targeting, and migration of template, custom and LotusScript-based applications.”

“Unify and CASAHL are pioneers that share a vision and a focus for making it easy for organizations to transition their Lotus Notes applications without the inherent costs and complexities of a rewrite effort,” said Harry Wong, CEO, CASAHL. “We are pleased to partner with Unify as they offer the only solution for migrating Notes applications with and without LotusScript.”

Composer for Lotus Notes is a software plus service solution for migrating Lotus Notes applications to the Microsoft SharePoint and .NET platforms. Composer offers customers the opportunity to rapidly adopt the Microsoft platform with like-for-like migrations that minimize disruption to the business and to end users.  CASAHL is a provider of products for integrating collaborative applications and data between IBM Lotus Notes, Microsoft, and enterprise database platforms.
